Alternative Dispute Resolution

Working together to find solutions

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution that focuses on compromise and communication instead of litigation — at a fraction of the cost and stress.

How it works

Neutral mediators, equal footing

At The Summit Law Firm, every mediation is conducted by a certified mediator — a neutral professional who helps disputing people and companies find equitable solutions that work for everyone involved. The mediator represents each party equally, and each party pays an equal portion of the mediator’s fee.

We specialize in international and domestic business disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, labor disputes, nonprofit disputes, and pet custody disputes. Our mediators bring expert guidance in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving so all parties can craft a collaborative, lasting resolution.

We specialize in

  • International & domestic business disputes
  • Landlord-tenant disputes
  • Labor disputes
  • Nonprofit disputes
  • Pet custody disputes

Caleb is a versatile attorney and mediator known for a strategic, informative, and results-oriented approach. He draws on a professional background that spans law, education, technical trades, and policy — a Certified Electrician’s Apprentice, a U.S. Senator’s Office legal intern, and the founder and president of a human-rights nonprofit at two universities. That foundation lets him structure high-stakes negotiations and bridge the technical gaps others miss.

His ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable steps comes from years teaching Advanced Placement World History and directing a Debate and Speech department. As a mediator he serves clients from individuals to international corporations, making sure every voice is equally represented.

Caleb views litigation as a costly last resort. He helps every party weigh the true time and expense of court against alternative dispute resolution, with the goal of a durable, efficient, and risk-averse agreement.

“Mediation is negotiation.”
